About the artist
The German artist lived and worked mainly in Munich. Faber was a student of H. Knirr und C. von Marr. Landscapes and animals of all kinds belonged to the artist’s most preferred subjects. He focused particularly on light and colour effects and on the realistic depiction of the motives.
