About the artist

The sculptor studied at the Barnsley School of Art, the Trent Polytechnic and the Royal College of Art in London. Over the last 30 years Ibbeson has showed his works mainly in Europe and the US and he collaborated with architects, urban planners and designers in producing sculptures for public space.
Graham Ibbeson is mainly known for his sculptures of famous personalities that decorate various public squares in Great Britain. There is for example a sculpture of the comedian Eric Morecambe in Morecambe/Lancashire, the film actor Cary Grant in Bristol and the two US American actors Laurel and Hardy in Lake District.
