In 1992 he did a practical training in New York with the American sculptor Willard Boepple. From 1993 to 1997 he studied fine arts at the Zurich University of Arts.<br \/>\nArchi\u00actec\u00actural room installations are an inte\u00acgral part of Hunziker\u2019s oeuvre. He often separates architectural fragments from their urban context and integrates them into his own hybrid works. Sometimes his replicas assume the dimension of the originals, challenging them nevertheless. Thereby he consciously balances between fine arts and everyday experiences.<br \/>\nGenerally he integrates his works into an exhibition space, where they interact with the particular circumstances. His installations are characterised by a polygonal geometry, the positioning in the room and the colour of the object form an interplay with the present light conditions.
